We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated skills in the following areas:

  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience, with an emphasis on brand, sales, communications, content, and campaign development.
  • Experience creating a content engine to drive high quality business to business marketing leads.
  • Proven success in developing brands – from positioning, to messaging strategy to execution.
  • Direct, in-person, B2B sales, especially in the advertising field and job search engine advertising.
  • Candidates with an existing book of business.
  • Candidates with excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Candidates with a proven track record of success in sales.
  • Communications expert using a variety of media channels. Ability to represent the business in a variety of medica and content-driven publications.

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Senior Director of Sales and Marketing to develop new business and to drive company sales by persuading customers to purchase our job search engine services.

About This Position

MedFire is looking a hands-on Director of Sales and Marketing to position our products and services as the “Best in Class” and lead our salesforce.

Reporting directly to the President and Executive Vice President, this role will oversee brand, creative, website, media, content, and communications. This will include data-driven sales and marketing strategies, world-class brand positioning, engaging sales campaigns, and public relations.

You will be responsible for building, communicating, and stewarding the perception of [Register to View] in the marketplace. You will define and measure strategic marketing initiatives that build awareness and consideration for the brand and provide direct support for marketing and sales efforts.

The Senior Director of Sales and Marketing will develop new customer relationships with human resource managers, hiring managers, recruiters, hospitals and medical centers, doctor’s offices, scientific research and development companies, nursing service providers, fire departments and emergency service providers, and veterinary medical facilities, to provide job search engine advertisements. This position will include prospecting new business and servicing existing clients.

The Senior Director of Sales and Marketing achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services and personally contacts and secures new business accounts and customers and oversees a sales team of approximately 2 to 5 Regional Sales Managers, and 5 to 10 Territory Sales Managers, and 10 to 20 independent advertising sales representatives.

The income potential is unlimited. This position is commission only and includes a lucrative incentive plan. Additionally, this position may provide stock options and bonuses for a top performer, as well as a permanent executive role inside our rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Build, develop and retain a high-impact, results-oriented team who will build and manage the brand nationwide and cross-functionally.

  • Define and execute the corporate marketing and brand strategy resulting in consistent branding, messaging, and positioning.

  • Oversee the development, implementation and cross-functional utilization of a corporate messaging platform that builds upon the company business proposition.

  • Coordinate with Regional and Territory Managers on implementation of marketing and sales strategies.

  • Develop, test, and scale compelling campaigns and creative themes that resonate with target audiences; effectively partnering with the demand generation / growth marketing team is essential.

  • Elevate public relations, social media and thought leadership efforts to further establish our position in the industry and increase brand awareness to build top of funnel pipeline.

  • Create omnichannel brand experiences to deliver messages and drive awareness.

  • Manage external agencies including but not limited to PR, advertising, branding, and creative web.

  • Develop and manage the company’s corporate marketing budget.

  • Develop a core plan with our sales, finance, and human resources teams to ensure that every touch point with our customers is world class and aligns with our brand strategy; understand that every interaction with our products and services, and employees is the foundation of our brand.

  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to build high performing teams.

  • Proven track record managing large sales teams and managers in advertisement sales.

  • Ability to establish trusting relationships with key executives.

  • Passion for results and performance-oriented; will have a strong sense of teamwork and the ability to infuse that in others.

  • Being articulate and professional in both communication and appearance.

  • Direct in-person B2B sales of advertising for our job search engine product offerings.
