We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated skills in the following areas:


  • 5+ years of medical device sales leadership experience, with an emphasis on brand, sales, communications, and disposable medical devices.
  • Experience creating teams to drive high quality business to business sale leads.
  • Proven success in developing relationships with Group Purchasing Organizations, and Independent Delivery Networks.
  • Direct, in-person, B2B sales, especially in the medical device field.
  • Candidates with an existing book of business.
  • Candidates with excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Candidates with a proven track record of success in sales and building sales teams.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to build high performing teams.

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for Medical Device Sales, to develop new business and to develop our medical sale division.


About This Position


MedFire is looking a hands-on Director of Sales and Marketing for Medical Device Sale to position our products and services as the “Best in Class” and lead our salesforce. This position will be the lead position in the development of this division.


Reporting directly to the President and Executive Vice President, this role will oversee brand, B2B sales, develop sales territory management, overseeing the entire sales staff for the Medical Device Sales division, establish training programs, and develop communications. This will include data-driven sales and marketing strategies, world-class brand positioning, engaging sales campaigns, and public relations.


You will be responsible for building, communicating, and stewarding the perception of MedFire Innovations in the marketplace. You will define and measure strategic marketing initiatives that build awareness and consideration for the brand and provide direct support for marketing and sales efforts.


The Senior Director of Sales and Marketing of Medical Device Sales will develop new customer relationships with hospitals and medical centers, doctor’s offices, nursing service providers, fire departments and emergency service providers, emergency medical agencies, GPO’s and IDN’s and other key entities, to provide develop sales leads, and generate sales and revenues for the company. This position will include prospecting new business and servicing existing clients.


The Senior Director of Sales and Marketing of Medical Device Sales achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within multiple territories and/or market segments through the development of a sales force, and by personally contacting and securing new business accounts and customers. This position will oversee a at a minimum, sales teams of approximately 2 to 5 Regional Sales Managers, and 5 to 10 Territory Sales Managers, and 10 to 20 independent advertising sales representatives.


The income potential is unlimited. This position is commission only and includes a lucrative incentive plan. Additionally, this position may provide stock options and bonuses for a top performer, as well as a permanent executive role inside our rapidly growing company.


Responsibilities include the following:


  • Build, develop and retain a high-impact, results-oriented team who will build and manage the brand nationwide and cross-functionally.


  • Define and execute the corporate marketing and brand strategy resulting in consistent branding, messaging, and positioning.


  • Oversee the development, implementation and cross-functional utilization of a corporate messaging platform that builds upon the company business proposition.


  • Develop and coordinate with Regional, Territory, and local managers on implementation of marketing and sales strategies.


  • Develop essential relationships with doctors, nurses, healthcare facilities, nursing facilities, emergency medical agencies, GPO’s and IDN’s, large distributors, and other key entities to assist in the selling of our products.


  • Elevate public relations, social media and thought leadership efforts to further establish our position in the industry and increase brand awareness to build top of funnel pipeline.


  • Create omnichannel brand experiences to deliver messages and drive awareness.


  • Manage external agencies including but not limited to PR, advertising, branding, and creative web.


  • Develop and manage the company’s corporate marketing budget.


  • Develop a core plan with our sales, finance, and human resources teams to ensure that every touch point with our customers is world class and aligns with our brand strategy; understand that every interaction with our products and services, and employees is the foundation of our brand.


  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to build high performing teams.


  • Proven track record managing large sales teams and managers in advertisement sales.


  • Ability to establish trusting relationships with key executives.


  • Passion for results and performance-oriented; will have a strong sense of teamwork and the ability to infuse that in others.
